Step 2

Get your cardstock and print out your photos.

As you can see, the tickets that I have look so busy and got a bright orange color on it, so I've decided to print out black and white photographs from our travel and put them on top of my teal colored card stock

Quick tip: Find a card stock color that would complement the color of your tickets.

Step 3

Using my craft knife, I carefully extracted the important information from the ticket like the date, name of the passenger, and the destination.

I adhered them to my photographs and put the corresponding name of the people in the photograph as seen below.

Step 4

Using a craft knife, cut out the name of your travel destination. As you can see, I cut out the word SYDNEY from the brightly colored edges of the tickets. I used the color orange to match the tickets.

If you're having a hard time making a title or label, you can print out a scrapbook lettering layout.

TIP: You can check out our article about printable scrapbook pages and learn more about scrapbook printables and how to incorporate them into your pages.

You can do this freehand just like what I did or you can draw an outline first before cutting the letters out. Whatever works best for you!

Step 5

Then I just simply put the tickets on the edge of the page to complete the background.

Doesn't that look fantastic? It really brought the beauty of my photographs and the details that I've extracted from those tickets.
